Discount video conversion pack
This pack contains two Xilisoft programs: DVD to iPhone Converter and iPhone Video Converter. You'll have to install each program separately, making sure that you have the right version depending on whether your Mac is PPC or Intel.
DVD to iPhone Converter will allow you to rip full DVDs, or selected chapters and convert them to iPhone friendly MPEG4, MP3, M4A and WAAV.
iPhone Video Converter lets you take any video from any source and convert it to the same formats.
Both programs offer similar interfaces, with both the advance and general mode.
General mode will let you choose presets, while advance lets you enter your own numbers for elements live size, bit rate or frame rate. We did find that the advance tab lacked a bit of explanation.
We recommend the presets in general to be on the safe side.
Both applications offer a preview window to check your converted videos, however we find it a little small to really have a good look.
